Built Within: Lent Edition is not about pushing harder or chasing transformation for transformation’s sake. It’s about cultivating strength from the inside out—physically, spiritually, and rhythmically—during a season meant for depth, honesty, and renewal.

Over the years—through my work in fitness, yoga, spiritual direction, and community leadership—I’ve seen this pattern again and again (and I’ve lived it myself):

Self-care rarely fails because we’re lazy or unmotivated.
It fails because:

  • The structure isn’t reliable when life gets full

  • The practices aren’t rooted deeply enough to sustain stress

  • The approach asks us to push harder instead of tend wisely

  • And the support disappears when we need it most


What we actually need isn’t more effort
it’s
better structure, deeper alignment, and practices that meet real life where it is.

That realization is what led me to create Built Within: Lent Edition.


WHY LENT IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR THIS WORK

Lent is not a season of hustle. It’s a season of honesty, return, and refinement.

It invites us to stop forcing change from the outside and begin tending what is being formed within.

Built Within is designed to meet Lent with integrity—offering strength without striving, structure without pressure, and soul care without spiritual performance.


WHAT BUILT WITHIN IS DESIGNED TO DO

This is not a “push yourself” program. It’s a guided, supported rhythm that helps you:

  • Rebuild strength in a body that may have changed

  • Stay consistent without burning out

  • Feel held instead of self-policed

  • Integrate movement and faith rather than compartmentalize them

  • Create follow-through that actually lasts


PROGRAM DATES & ACCESS

BUILT Within: Lent Edition runs from Sunday, February 22 through the week of Easter, April 5th.

Participants receive full access to the fitness programming beginning Sunday, February 22, with workouts released inside the app from the very first day.

Weekly soul care sessions will be held on Monday mornings at 7:00 am MST, creating a steady, supportive cadence for both your body and spirit!


HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

A Fully Integrated Fitness + Soul Care Experience

BUILT Within: Lent Edition is a whole-person program—designed to strengthen your body and tend to your soul through a clear, supportive weekly rhythm.

When you register, you receive programmed movement AND guided soul care for the entire season of Lent. Nothing is separate. Nothing is random. Everything works together.


THE RHYTHM OF THE PROGRAM

Movement (4 Workouts Per Week)

Your physical training is designed to build strength, energy, and sustainability—without burnout.

Each week includes:

  • 2 Total-Body Strength Workouts
    Focused on functional strength, posture, and confidence

  • 1 Steady-State Cardio Session of your choice
    Walking, cycling, or another gentle endurance option

  • 1 Strength + Cardio Mash-Up
    15 minutes of cardio + 15 minutes of a total-body circuit


Soul Care (The Heart of the Program)

At the center of BUILT Within is intentional space for your inner life.

Each week includes a Selah Session (live via Zoom, with replays available):
A 45–60 minute guided spiritual practice that includes:

  • Biblical teaching

  • Guided reflection

  • Silence and prayer

  • Space to breathe and be held
    (Sharing is always optional)


Each session follows a grounding theme aligned with the Lenten journey—creating room for awareness, release, endurance, and renewal.


This is not about adding more effort.
It’s about learning how to stay present, honest, and supported in this season.


A STRUCTURED, APP-BASED EXPERIENCE (FOR BODY AND SOUL)

Everything—your workouts, weekly rhythm, and movement plan—lives inside a professional training app so you’re never guessing what to do next.

Inside the app, you’ll have:

  • A clear weekly plan

  • Workouts you can follow step-by-step

  • Trackable sessions so you can see your progress

  • One consistent place to return to when life feels scattered

This structure matters.
It removes decision fatigue and creates reliability—two things most of us deeply need.

(Soul care sessions are accessed live via Zoom, with replays provided.)


OPTIONAL YOGA

For those who want deeper recovery and nervous system support, a weekly yoga practice is available as an add-on.
