Hi, I’m Amber!
I’m a speaker, fitness instructor, and spiritual director.
I’ve got a Masters Degree in Health Education, over twenty-five years of experience in the health & wellness industry, and a passion to help women strengthen their bodies and nourish their souls! I feel alive teaching others about pretty much anything, but especially about the Bible + wellness. I love both written and spoken words and the more I use them, the more my soul seems to wake up.
I strengthen bodies.
I always say that salt water cures pretty much anything. A good cry, a good sweat, or a nice trip to the beach, are all good medicine.
I specialize in the sweat part.
Our bodies are the guardians of our hearts, minds, and souls, and we can't access the deeper things without intentionally caring for the physicality of who we are too. The human body amazes and inspires me, and it is my art to create workouts and yoga flows to help people feel empowered and strong.
As a former Division 1 athlete, exercise, nutrition, and wellness have always been paramount passions in my life. After a lot of over-training injuries, stress fractures and five years of amenorrhea, I allowed my body and my own intense training schedule to be my greatest teacher. In 2001 I was certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) to become a personal trainer, and I started training myself, and others, around a philosophy that focuses on flexibility, correction of muscular imbalances, and functional strength.
I am a lifelong learner, and am certified in: Group Fitness, Indoor Cycling, Power Vinyasa Yoga (E-RYT® 200, YACEP®), Yoga Sculpt, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Holy Yoga (Certified 500 Hour Holy Yoga Instructor C-HYI 500) & Kids Yoga.
I’d love to workout with you!
Here’s my current teaching schedule:
Personal Training or Small Group Sessions in my home studio
Mondays 6:00 pm Power Vinyasa at CorePower Yoga Parker
Wednesdays 8:00 am Sculpt at CorePower Yoga Parker
I nourish souls.
It is my pure delight to help women care for their souls and connect with God through Spiritual Direction, inner healing & listening prayer, guided meditations, and Bible studies.
When our souls are happy and healthy everything else seems to fall into place. And, NOTHING excites me more than seeing healing, hope, freedom, belonging, and love take root in another person's life.
I’ve had the honor of leading and teaching at retreats, churches, and women’s ministry groups for almost fifteen years and I love helping others grow in their faith.

I encourage hearts.
Nothing brightens a heart like presence, someone to listen, a fierce prayer, true words spoken, a joyful spirit, and of course, a little FUN! I hope to share these things with everyone I meet, and the people that share these things with me are my favorite.
David Augsburger is quoted as saying, "being listened to is so close to being loved that most people cannot tell the difference."
I think he's right, don't you?
